The Riddler - Second Suit - Concept / Fanart

My take on a second suit for Paul Dano's Riddler. This is a non-official concept and should be viewed as fan art or as a fan concept. As a massive fan of the Batman universe and the characters within it, I am of course extremely excited for the new movie by Matt Reeves. I'm a fan of the saw-like Riddler that we saw in both the test footage and the DC Fandom trailer. I really like the idea of the Riddler going this darker, more horror-like way. I really liked how simplistic he was in his design and I tried to keep that in mind when doing my concept here. I also wanted to implement his signature question mark staff, and I thought it would be fitting as a weapon in the form of a scythe. I really enjoyed expanding on Matt Reeves's version of the character and really wanted to pay homage to the original from the film. I am extremely satisfied with the result and I had a really fun time designing it.
